First step in any employee injury is getting the Pro the right medical care right away. All employees should be instructed to call 911 immediately in the case of a medical emergency. Non-emergency injury should also be reviewed for best treatment by a medical professional on the day of injury. The franchise owners should also contact their workers compensation insurance carrier immediately after they have ensured the Pro is receiving proper care to review next steps in reporting.

Review the OSHA/Safety page for detailed information documenting work-place injuries for OSHA compliance. Immediate medical attention by an un-biased professional (not the cleaner's PCP) and immediate reporting to OSHA and Insurance are the most important first steps to managing workers-comp injury expenses.
