Should I Track Door Hangers as a Marketing Campaign?

Yes! Any kind of marketing expense should be tracked in Cloud. This helps both you and your Marketing Coach determine the best and most effective budgets and campaigns. 

To track your door hangers:

1. Create a new Cloud Local Campaign specifically for that set of door hangers. For example: 

Global Campaign: Door Hangers    
Sub Campaign: Door hanger - single 
Local Campaign: Go With a Pro - 5th Clean Fee 

2. You'll then want to track two types of expenses: the expense of printing ALL the hangers, and the labor costs of hanging them. The expenses should all be attached to the new Local Campaign you just created. For example: 

Local Campaign: Go With a Pro - 5th Clean Fee 
Expense: Door Hangers - Printing ($500) 
Expense: Door Hanging Labor - NOV 2014 ($50) 
Expense: Door Hanging Labor - DEC 2014 ($25) 

For the printing cost, enter that as a one-time expense. For the distribution, keep a tally of how many hours you're paying in door hanging labor throughout the month and add that total for the NOV 2014 expense.
