All line items on job are now locked once it is completed.  Any new modifications now need to be made through the addition of positive or negative charges, but the original charges will always remain.  This greatly enhances our ability to report on and track who made what changes, when, over time, which will be a great boon to our analytics and reporting capabilities.  We wanted to make sure that, for data integrity purposes, that we never lose the original values that were there.  It also helps with refunds because, by locking the original line items and making sure they’re protected, it makes sure that everything can be tied back and nothing can be modified after the fact, so that all of the relationships that are necessary within the data can be protected.
