The issue of the penny balance comes from a rounding system in Cloud (and all computers for that matter). The pricing gets close to the original quoted cost, but off by a penny due to rounding.

Reactivate the job (use Product / Service Adjustment reason)
Click the Complete job button to go the completions page
On the products and services section, check off Round Up.
This will update the job cost and say the job has a charge of $.01 (since they already paid via check and there's one penny left, you'll see the previous transaction there)

Use the Apply Balance transaction to pay the penny that is owed. Make sure you use apply balance!
