A refund can take up to 30 days to appear on the customer's credit or debit statement based on the terms of their issuing back.

An alternate solution to the refund, if the client is recurring is to offer to give them a credit towards their next clean. Depending on the issuing bank, their next clean may be scheduled before they'd see the refund hit their account.
