Error: You have a newly created billing contact. (John Doe - 77 N. Washington St. Street Boston, MA 02114) Please confirm that you wish to overwrite to current Account Billing Address.
This is a new feature which prevents the need to update billing addresses across multiple fields (account, contact, and location). This streamlines and keeps the "billing address" fields the same on the account and contact. However, there is a "Do Not Overwrite" button if you wish to keep the contact billing address different than the account.Â
Â
The logic states that if the address is updated on a billing contact, upon saving and returning to the account, the system prompts if you wish to update the account billing address.Â
Â
I have the development team looking into a small issue with the account address updating to any new service location. We should have a fix released shortly for that piece, as well as an improvement that will allow you to add a service location and then decide if you also want to update the billing contact and account billing address fields.Â
Â
Moving forward the process is as follows:Â
Â
CREATING A NEW SERVICE LOCATION:Â
1. Create a new Service LocationÂ
2. SaveÂ
3. Once saved, you'll be redirected to the accountÂ
4. On the account, there will be a prompt asking you if you wish to update the Account Billing Address and the Billing Contact's Billing AddressÂ
* In the case of someone moving, you'd want to overwrite.Â
** If adding a second location for a family member, it will be up to you if you wish to update the billing address on contact/accountÂ
Â
UPDATING A CONTACT ADDRESS:Â
1. Go to existing billing contactÂ
2. Update billing addressÂ
3. Save and redirect to the AccountÂ
4. On the account, there will be a prompt asking you if you wish to update the Account Billing Address.Â
* You can either overwrite if you wish, but you won't have to
