A Client Never Received the Gift Card She Purchased. Why Not?

Usually if a client claims they purchased a gift certificate, but never received any kind of confirmation email and didn't see the charge on her statement, it is because her credit/debit card was declined. When a client's credit card is declined, an alert will pop up prompting the client to try the purchase again with a valid credit card.
