Why Can't I Search for New Leads?

You can! We recently turned on an enhanced search function in the search area in the upper left corner. Now, when you search, it looks only in the specified object such as Account, Lead or Contact. For example I found X client when I searched contact, but not lead or account.

 

What usually helps is if you click on the "Advanced Search" line right below the the entry box in the search area, which then will greatly increase the chance of hitting on one try in all areas.
