Why Is My MACS Test Email Blank?

Created by Alsabana Sahubarali, Modified on Mon, 4 Nov, 2024 at 9:10 AM by Alsabana Sahubarali

MACS is designed to send to Active, Inactive, and Prospect customers. For those clients, MACS looks at their office information, job history, email address, and other information to populate when sending campaigns and also when sending a test message.

If you're an owner or office manager, however, you don't fall under those three categories of Actives, Inactives, or Prospects. To get around this, we've added all owners to a "test list" that MACS fills with blank information. This is why when you send yourself a test, it shows from macs@maidpro.com and the all the fields are blank.

What this means: Your customers definitely don't get emails that look like that. The test messages are designed so that you can double check formatting and spelling and how the overall message looks. MACS is able to fill out the rest of the labels in the [ ] without issue.

However, we definitely understand that it can be a bit disconcerting to not see a test message populate with your office's information. To fix this, you can add yourself (and any other people with Cloud access in your office) as Leads. They will then update within a few minutes to be Prospects in MACS. Then, when you send a test message to them or yourself, it will come through as a client would see it (minus a couple small details reserved for actual campaigns).

Hope that helps! As always feel free to reach out to the Help Desk with any questions.
