Braintree only shows up on AmEx transactions processed on our aggregated AmEx account (so all of Maidpro franchisees) as a soft descriptor. Once it settles, it will show MaidPro. Unfortunately, there isn't anything we can do about the soft descriptor. Visa, MC, and Discover show Maidpro as the hard and soft descriptor.

Translation - The charge shows as Braintree for AmEx cards only, and only for one day (as soon as the charge is posted). But, at 5:00 PM EST when the charge settles, the name on their credit card statement changes from Braintree to MaidPro.
