How Do I Write-Off Uncollected Money?

The best way to "erase" a bad debt from your A/R is to use the "Write-Off" tender type. In the case of a completed job, you'll want to use the New Transaction option on the account and fill in the amount you want to write-off.

This needs to be done on each job where money is owed vs. at the account level, but you can take care of all jobs for one client in one fell swoop using the New Transaction page. Then, voila! The amount is written-off your A/R.
